Drivers side, just below the Master Cylinder. It is a black box about the size of a pack of smokes mounted on the fender. And It is the RED/GREY wire that is used to run the highbeam indicator. (I checked my 97' manual) Not sure how they changed it when they went to a switiched ground system on other years. Cheers
 
I installed Narva bulbs in both my wifes truck and my truck. They are made in Germany and 65/45 watts, but seem alot briter and were only $15 each. #9004BLB
 
I pulled the relay and put in a jumper wire so I can run the driving lights with the brights on. I added a relay that draws only 1/4 amp to the high beam side to activate the low beams. With low and high beams and driving lights, I can see fine at night!

I have the Silver Stars and they do NOT have a blue tint. I am very pleased with them. They made a noticeable difference. If I were you, I would buy the silver stars first, then if you still think you need more light- try the sport conversion. You can use the silver stars in the sport lights. ;)



PS I paid about 20 bones each at checker auto parts
