Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) upgrading steering box on'97 Dodge

I am interested in upgrading the steering box on my '97 Dodge. Does anyone have experience in this? Can the original box be upgraded for more precision,less play and less steering effort? Has anyone tried the Borgeson steering box available for the "94-'92 Dodge?

Just installed Borgeson bx & shaft... Much better/quicker steering but pulls rt (realigned) & has a soft/mushy feel in middle when going down road... They want me to return the box !!! Don't appear to know (haven't heard of it but I have read of same problem) or care about problem!!!!!!!! I have read good things about---http://redheadsteeringgears2. reachlocal.net/

Any thoughts about Borgeson being better than PSC?



Don't even thing about an AGR. Total JUNK.

Very pleased with my Borgeson unit. It also removed a clunk noise I had that I was sure was in the column.

I did the box and a trackbar on my 1998. Made a HUGE difference.

I went with a rebuild from autozone (Cardone) and got lucky with a good one.

My truck has the original front end @ 125000 miles. Only because I put in grease fittings 95K miles ago. :-laf
