Found a 2003 4x4 dually regular cab for my business for sale, local guy used it for commercial work. 314 K looks like new . Has brand new trans ,and I know the shop they have exellent reputation. I`m going to buy it as the owners have service records since new. I--AM---PUMPED ! Have ,and will keep 91 non-intercooled 4x4 for our work also. (never get rid of old hoss) Anyway the 314 K didn`t scare me off and I hope ,and don`t believe thats high miles. Feed back ?... ... Regards Mark

:cool:Haven`t quite got used to the fan noise when running below say, 40. Then as you roll on up it stops and its just engine sound (the sound I never tire of). I think it does that to keep it cool at slower speeds ? And yes ,its in our driveway now.

Pics coming soon. This has been a new beginning for our small biz. Can`t wait to get our logo ,DOT# on the doors and polish it up. Been a very long time since wev`e had a truck to keep clean and look very good. The ole 91 has been used 24 /7 so many snow seasons as well as a brush,rock,block... . hauler(w250 mind you) it is just now soon to be our (back-up if the new one has to be left at the shop. Even with new leafs installed ,brakes the 91 suddendly seems small and wimpy. The better haf keeps reminding me how much "ole Hoss" has done for us and come through for us during tough weather for our customers .

I really like it when people kind of think of their trucks as people. Called "anthropomorphism" I guess. I had my old '92 sold for a good price, but I kept thinking how my son was raised in the passenger seat, going somewhere fishing or hunting, or to a ball game. He used to always spill something and fill up the cup holders, and I would get annoyed. I wish I could be cleaning that cup holder now. Anyway, I kept thinking about that cup holder, and i just couldn't do it. I went and told the man. I think he understood, and he was probably a little disappointed, but not as disappointed as I would have been in myself if I had sold. It's sitting down by the barn with a load of wood that I am too lazy to unload.

Our 91 has been unbelievably dependable. When the chips were down and the checking account went into the red, I would hook up the trailer, load the tools and with a RUMMMP!! up the straight pipe, no matter the weather, off we go again. Plow snow in industrial lots in second pushing huge piles for hours . Just a nice bass drone as if it were more like running a tracktor or dozer. Have pushed the envelope so much I`m amazed it still sounds and runs strong. How do you "retire" a truck like that? Its going to get an upgrade on cosmetics for sure.
