That sounds interesting, can you elaborate on what this "stuff" is, how it mounts, and if it would work with a 271 case as well?

I sure do like the idea of an NP205 t-case. Do you know if that AA NV4500 adapter would work with an NV5600, or if they offer an adapter for the NV5600?

To do the NP271 on 94-97 trucks you get an SGI-5 from dakota digital you use the signal off the rear end for the ABS. That signal gos into the module you then hook the signal wires that where on the transfer case to the output of this unit. This is a pretty neat little unit as it will convert just about any ppm (pulse per mile) signal in to almost any other ppm signal.

As far as the NP205 gos Advance adapters markets this kit so you can put a nv4500 in a ford. It will work the other way around also so the ford 205 can go in the dodge. As long as you get the kit for the 29 spline nv4500 it will also work on the NV5600. It will require cutting the output shaft off about

3/4". It also reuires notching the tailhousing on the transmission for shift rail clearance on the transfer case.

The ford NP205 can also be mated to the autos with the use of the 23 spline NV4500 kit that Advance adapters sells.

I picked up my ford NP205 at a local wrecking yard for $150. I replaced the seals bearings and gaskets with a rebuild kit for $120. Pretty cheap for an awesome transfer case. Then you have to factor in driveshaft mods and adapter kit.
