Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 2001 3500 quad cab 4x4--230,000 highway miles Looking for information/procedures to test upper and lower control arms. I have vehicle suspended on frame rail--front end hanging down and can find no up or down play in any of the bushings or bolts using a 2 ft pry bar. -- can get a small 2-3 mm side to side play in the rubber bushing if I push hard. any information on this would be appreciated. Service manual gives no specific tests for control arms. Reason for testing is have developed a clunk.
