2008 CNY Mopar Association's "Mopar Madness" Show

Well we have our second annual dyno day all set up. Will be July 19th at Jim Fords Dyno Service in Fulton,NY. Will have food and drink and fun, even prizes for high #'s. Upstate Diesel Performance will be the sponsor of this event, and we encourage all to attend to see what they got. You can PM me for details and directions to the event. DD

I graduated from Oswego in 03 and haven't been back in town since. The family would love to see where dad went to school. If fuel prices allow I may be interested in attending.

I sure would like to get out there to hang with you guys again, last meet I went to was at Petes house.

I'm going to put it on my calender.

And you were only there for what, about 10 minutes? You didn't even take food!

Well, at least you stopped to say hi. ;)

:-laf :-laf

Taking thursday off for the 4 day weekend, may take monday too. We'll see what I get done.

Thanks Chad!

I ran into Jim at the Upstate Garage Owners Association Clambake in Syracuse last month. He was excited to get you guys back. He said he was going to add a bunch of tarping to the shop because of all the soot you guys made last time!

This event is right in my back yard, but there's an off-road benefit ride that I signed up for that weekend on Tug Hill.

How late are you guys normall there? I might be done by late afternoon. It would be cool to stop by and meet everyone.

Joe

Joe, with the number of people we expect, I'd say 4-5 pm at least. I bet Jim was excited$ :-laf

He didn't really seem too upset about the soot last time. He said several times that they were gonna have to clean the room, but he had a big grin when he said it. I think he didn't mean he had to clean the room. ;)

It'd be nice to meet you too. I'll PM you my cell #. Then you can call and see if we're still there.

Hi guys. I'm back. Never really went any where and that was the problem. I would love to come to dyno day but I have to work. Maybe I can get there after.

I've never seen Jim's Dyno shop. Just visited his repair shop in Liverpool a bunch of times. I know he likes to keep things neat. He was probably dusting the soot out of there for a week. I know that I'd much rather hang tarps than clean soot off of everything. Kinda like painting in the shop... an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

Joe

Hi Shawn, welcome back from nowhere! ;) Gimme a call so we can chat. Tell the wife and kids we said "hi"! :-laf

Joe, the dyno is in the back of a barn, machine shop in the front. The fan that exhausts the dyno room is 40,000 cfm. (pretty sure that's what he said. ) It blows it into the back storage area. I'd hate to get anything out of there now. The smoke was coming out of the 4 x 8 or so door full black! :-laf

You bet, Pete! You can call me the "official upstate bombers photographer/videographer"! I am going to go and look for a tripod somewhere, so i can do a neat job, and maybe put everyones runs on youtube or the like, so they can enjoy! and not having to turn their heads sideways!:-laf

How many trucks showing up will actually be hitting the rollers??

Not sure, just from the dodge sites and our site, I'd guess at least 20, anyways.

I never did see the sideways video. I wanted to see my truck go! :D

Andrew, 8:30 at the Valero, Rt 48 and Lamson rd, then on to the dyno at 9 am.

Dyno address, 105 Pinnacle Hill Rd. Fulton, ny.
