Upstate NY '07

Omg Lol!!

Chad- I just saw your post on towrig.com, about the dyno day where you apparently "failed" to tell the guys in what part of the country the dyno day was. I was wetting my pants, they made the guy from CA look like a doofus! I know SYR isn't a huge metropolis, but come on, the guy probably seasons his fries with salt from Onondaga Co. , has a Carrier AC at his employer, and hasn't this guy ever seen a NCAA college b-ball or football game???

Oh yeah- there's a Farmington NY, too:-laf

Chad talked to the dyno guy. The door is 8 feet tall, 12 feet wide, I think even Dan can get in there. ;)

The dyno will take duallys, no pulling wheels.

He double checked the smoke/ stacks, repaint the shop black factor. The guy said he's got a big fan, and lots of small ones. There's gonna be a road cone with a sign at the end of the guys driveway so you can't miss the place.

Hope to see ya'all there! :D

Directions to Dyno Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DIRECTIONS TO DYNO SHOP

location is:

153 Pinnacle Hill Rd.

Fulton NY 13069

take route 81 north to 690 west to the end continue about 3 - 4 miles

look for Pinnacle Hill Rd. on your left. (Just past County Line Choppers) Turn left continue for 3/4 of a mile and look for mail box 153

The mail boxes will be on your right. When you get to box 153 turn left on to stone driveway.

Follow the driveway around to green steel building you are here. Thank you JimFord

Oo.

I just had a thought! The last time I hauled a grill someplace for a function, plow days for the tractor club, the grill fell off the trailer. You know what a grill looks like after it gets dragged up 81 for a mile or 2? The tie down strap held it so the lid was rubbing the ground! I still used it for about 3 more years, that's the one I replaced for wrench day. The road rash grill! :-laf

Im pretty sure you learned from your mistakes, i hope!

Who wants to meet at the Pilot at 7:00 on the first?

Ya think we can sneak in there without causin' a ruckus? I sure hope them Italians aint there waiting for us! The prolly have our pictures and plate #'s up on the wall, right next to Saddam and Osama!

Pete, thats too funny! Only you, only you...

Dan, the Pilots just off Rt 81 and Rt 90 (thruway) junction, on 7th North Street. Rt 690 is all tore up near where we met before. The on ramp right there is gone!

Just so you guys know, the NY State Fair is going on too. Going to Dyno day might not be bad, because it's early. Coming back might be really busy. 690 is down to 2 lanes from 3 in both directions by Hiawatha Blvd.

Good call on reminding us about the fair. . I almost forgot. I don't do well in gridlock:mad:. I'll meet ya at the dyno shop, I'm gonna take 104 to 3, then down thru Fulton.

By the way, what's our #'s looking like so far? I see the dummy has gotten some interest on the Cummins forum.

im guessing close to 15 maybe 20, got some durasmax and some powerjokes also. It will be a good turnout. As areminder pleasebring some sort of food item, like chips, a bag of rolls, soda ect. not a lot just something to pitch in.

Dan, get off 90 at exit 39, then go 690 west. It turns into rt 48, takes you straight there. Or, take 104 to 370, (near Red Creek) to 690, west. This will be faster than going thru Fulton!

You and me have the same attitude about traffic! #@$%!

:-laf

Oh well, I guess I'll show up. I'm so busy right now, I hate to take time out of my busy schedule.

Oh, wait! Saturday? The wife and kids are home! I'll be there for sure! ;) :-laf
