Ok here is the latest, im planning on it to be the 9th or the 10th of december, and need suggestions on a location to get a bunch of us together, need to have a big lot and plentty of dining room, as i not sure how many can make it. These date s sound more feasable for people as it is not to close to the holidays, if any of you guys know of a restaurant or a bar to take us would be great, needs to be around syracuse area. If noone has any im gonna plan on having it at The Old Country Buffet on Erie Blvd, they have a big lot and pretty good food.

I should be able to make it. The OCB is usually very busy, lots of people of color there. Hooters is open. The Mall will be swamped anyways. I can do a check to see if there is any place else. We want sit down eating right? Regular restaurant? No buffet or any thing?

Syracuse sounds good, it's central to everybody and PToombs can check things out for us! It'll be his fault if it sucks! :-laf

thats what im figureing, that it will be busy, let me know what you find, want to get it set so i can spread it on the other sites. A local pub would work to if you know of one, i have one here but it might be to far away for everyone, but i can surely get the dining room for a while.

I'd be up for getting together, wherever. Hooters is always good for me. December 10th would be best for me. Just to add another possibility to the list, about 45 minutes or so west of Syracuse on the thruway in Waterloo is a Petro truck stop/ Iron Skillet Buffet. We can eat 'til even our trucks can't hold us. Keep me posted.

I am free for most weekends. Are we looking at gathering in day or night? It would be nice if were daylight so we could check out each other’s rides, but I am game for either.

If it's in Syracuse we should try to stay off the beatin' path, Erie Blvd. restaurants can get pretty packed on the weekends around supper time.

off the beaten path is good, and the petro in waterloo is a good idea and they have a huge lot, i believe it is exit 42. does this sounds like a good location to you all, im pretty sure a little burning out will not be a prob, but us good boys would never do that! The 10th is a sunday and that will be the date. just need to dedcide on a location.

I just came back from Geneva, exit 42. The Petro is at 41, it's just shy of an hour from Syracuse. In deference to our brothers from the east, Syracuse will be better. I'll look around early this week for a spot. 12 or 1 pm is probably the hot ticket, for drive time to get home and eating.

Just had a thought, Hofman's Hot Haus, hotdog's, etc. They host car shows in summer, kinda slow around there now. One near me, or another just off rt 81 north of the city.

I will look around any way, any suggestions, post or PM me.

On edit; Thanks Tim! :p

I got all done typing THEN saw the other thread! Ya can't have nothin! :-laf That works for me.

There is also the new Pilot at 7th north st. Right off 81 and the thruway.

Wooo Hooo!

I think I found the dyno! Oo. Oo.

I'll check into it and keep everybody updated. I knew there WAS one in the area, but the shop closed. Today I was working at the D. O. T. garage and found out when the shop closed, the guy took the dyno HOME!

Nice, i looked at the dynojet wesite and found the speed shop in syracuse, is the same one that you are talking about. Im gonna try to call them today. I think it will be a good time on the 10th, looking forward to seeing you all.

Are we going to a dyno shop? Just wondering, I was thinkin of showing up with a load of gravel in the bed, I've been wanting to go for a trip under load for a while now, but if I have a chance to dyno, I'll come empty.

Don't get all excited guys! The dyno is LOST. (MIA?) The shop went out of business, and supposedly the owner took it to his house. I thought maybe next summer, if I can find the guy. I just need some time to track him down, I have a couple people looking and asking about him. The person who started me on this quest told me the owner had a 600hp Viper on the dyno last summer.

Don't worry, I'll get him! ;)

That is true, the dyno he has is a 224 dynojet rated at1000 hp and 1500lb of tq. I dont think it will be a problem if we can find him. This is just going to be a meet and greet and get some ideas for the spring.
