Anyone ever seen a Commerical 7 Round Pin (truck) to RV 7 blade (trailer) adaptor? If so where can it be had and for how much? I have not had any luck finding one on the net so I think I'll be making one (aka jerryrigging one) Sunday to Fed-Ex out unless one of you can save me.

Thanks

-Matt

I think? those round ones are used on semis, you may want to check the truck stops or a local semi parts house, to see if they have an adapter .

cheers, Kevin

Last time I was at Uhaul I was amazed at the selection of towing adapters they had. This was the big Uhaul center - not one of the little franchises. Its been a little over 2 years, so I don't know if this info is still good. Good luck.

seven pin

You should change one or the other. The pin type in my opinion is better ,but most use the blade. the ends would be cheaper and better :)

Thanks for the inputs... whats going on is I'm having my brother move one of my trailers, he said it was a 7 "pin" on his truck the trailer is blades... turns out his truck is 6 pin so no sweat made an adapter for that a while back just won't have the aux 12vdc...

Thanks again

-Matt

The 7 pin and 7 blade sockets are wired differently. The aux leads are in different locations. The 7 pin also has seperate t/s and stop light circuits.
