US Gear Overdrive question

Well, its over three years since the last post, does anyone have any other experience w the US Gear product?



I am almost ready to plunk down my $ but since I have a NP205 (which they claim they don't interface to - but I have seen at least two vendors supplying installations). I have been asking them questions. So far they are responsive - but a bit slow.

I wrecked my 2000 truck which had the U. S. Gear unit installed, and now have a 2008 replacement (see signature - It's on my first post, above). I assume that you have the same transfer case I do. I haven't tried to install the U. S. Gear unit on the new truck but I intend to. I will be VERY interested to see if it fits the newer drivetrains.



To install the U. S. Gear unit on the 2000 truck I had to shorten the fuel tank. After crawling under the 2008 truck it doesn't look like I'll have to do that for the new one... Thank heaven.



If you created a signature, we could see what model and year your truck is. That will enable others to help you better. To create a signature, go to the top menu item, "Discussion Forums" and select, "User Control Panel". On the left side at the top, select, "Edit Signature" to create one.
