Yes, I have a 5-speed



I thought about using the two speed switch but decided it was ugly and that Mrs Doc might get confused with the extra stuff on the stick.



The old cruise stick idea is a good one. I'll look around and see if I have one left over from the days when I used to install aftermarket cruise controls.

just got back from grand juntion colo. sorry to not reply sonner!I am very interested in the "how to's" on my 97. I would like to keep my toggle on the knee bolster for cold mourning warm up's and long down hill grade's and would like to add a button that stay's off until depressed at the end of my shifter. I have a shop manual and some machanical experince. is the dealer the best place to get the shifter??how easy is it!Thank's for any info!
