Always in search of a deal I've seen some used programmers for sale, some by TDR members. Is this something that should be bought new? What would you do?

Used programmers

I have bought two used performance mods one was a downloader and one was a plug and play module I didn't have any issues with either but it is a buyer beware kind of thing. I would like to think most of us are honest people who wouldn't want to screw a fellow enthusiast.

Thats understandable however I would say most manufacturers are willing to give at least tech help even if not warranteed. Some are better than others from what you hear on forums but I can't say I have had a bad experience yet! (knock on wood) good luck to you though!

Make sure the product was returned back to stock and unlocked both programming and tire size adjustments on most mfg'r are vin locked.

I have seen people buy programmers that are vin locked
