Starter solenoid rebuild kit

I know that someday I'll be adding a TST or Edge fueling box to my 2003. Now, these new boxes have "built in" gauges which for the pyro at least are required for automatic shutdown. I like this feature and want it but I like the idea of having reliable auxillary gauges also.

So what is the best way to do this? I'd like to have a single probe if possible so the box and gauge are reading from the same point and avoid making too many holes in the exhaust manifold. Similar problem for boost.

Any chance that Edge or TST is going to offer a solution so they can "piggy back" off of another sender without causing any problems?

that is a good point, the probe just sends a signal to a sending unit. do you think the signal would get crossed if you hooked up 2 gauges to it? i doubt it would. .

doubt it would get crossed, but assume it's sending back a certain amperage that will be read/interpretted by the sending unit... put another gage in the way that will also want to pull some of that amperage and you may end up w/ skewed readings.

If it's voltage, it may be allright, but I don't have a clue how them fancy digital gages work... . my brain sees needles in certain position, interprets real quick the relative position to a known value, and calls it quits... none of this read and deduce information crap that you have to do w/ digital! :)

JMHO though,

It can be done - I have an analog EGT gauge in addition to the digital gauge on the PM3. What you have to do is have two sets of lead wires running all the way to the pyro - one to each gauge.

I have mine set up the same way. Pillar (post) mount and TST digital. On my first TST box the gauges went bad and I was real happy to have my other gauges.

Haven't seen any difference. I tried connecting and disconnecting the gauges and leads when I first hooked it up and didn't see any change.
