Finger Touch Engine Oil Drain Plug from Geno's

Several users seem to like the "finger touch" oil drain, but, I like concept of the flusher mounting of the EZ drain plug - harder to knock off. But - the "rubber sealed/spring loaded" description sounds like something that could be a future leak point.

42k miles on easy drain with no problems.
The brass cap prevents drips. I use the hose option into a 5 gal fuel can so I don't have to handle or repackage waste oil, but take it straight to shop for recycle. My ain't green wonderful. Stuff used to be great for keeping the dust down!

I have it, I love it! No mess, can stick the hose in container of your choice and never drips with flush brass cap installed. I have a 4x4 and hit the forest roads during hunting season and don't want anything sticking down below my oil pan.

Dang!
I wonder if Geno's has a payroll deduction plan? They seem to be getting a lot of my money lately for all these toys I have to have!

There is a thread that just got started a few days ago regarding the finger touch drain plug and there was a question as to whether it would allow ALL the oil to drain. Have any of you checked this with the EZ Drain? I probably wouldn't think twice about the finger touch if I had a 2WD but its protrusion concerns me on a 4X4 that is used as such. Would like to know that I get all of the old oil out when I change it. From a visual inspection of the pics on the website it looks as though the EZ Drain would let out at least as much as the finger touch.

Thanks,

Darren

I've heard enough - I ordered the plug today. I figured if I do two oil changes myself then I break even on the cost even if I reinstall the old plug after that. With 4WD, I want that flush mounting; the brass cap resolves my leak concerns, and the best feature of all: NO GOOBERS UNDER MY HOOD!
