It's to keep track of how many times those of us over 60 have to make a pit stop. Once you hit a preselected limit in an amount of time prescribed by your physician you qualify for a prescription for Flomax. Only problem is that Flomax doesn't mix very well with drugs such as Cialis or Viagra; blood pressure can drop and make it difficult to keep on driving. Personally I'd ditch that frequency counter and use the ashtray as a handy spot to stash my pills.

More than once I've thought about "donating" my ashtray to the idiot who throws his cigarette butt out the window into my truck - one time from a county police car. Would look perfect to me stuck in his/her windshield!

DTW is right

People throwing butts out the window at me is gonna get someone hurt! Keep somethin in the ashtray to share with the next retard that does it;)

OOOOH, My pet peeve! And when I see a cop do it, makes me real twisted.

But back to the post origin, I'm now on tyhe hunt for the light/ aux power panel next to it. that'll get my creative hormones flowing to use it in place of the ashtray for... ... ... and a ... ... or maybe a trans temp and anothe aux power?

CRIMINY! If I used any sort of a counter for THAT, it'd take a spot more like the glove box... .

Been thinking about running a hose thru the floorboards - but after reading the comments from guys about tossed cig butts, might abandon the hose idea... :D :D :D

I hide my PM3 remote in my ash tray. open it pull it out and hold in my hand and then put it away when im done. works slick... . Right jim???? (****ing vp44 craped out after 3 blocks)

Wait, isn't flomax an exhaust system???:D

"... isn't Flomax an exhaust system?"

This, along with Gary's brilliant "hose through the floorboards" concept, leads me to the logical conclusion that we put the two together, i. e. , plumb that hose right into the exhaust pipe.

Beside the practicality, it would probably have a pretty cool sound. Sorta deep, mellow and gurgling - like an old Chris Craft.

Only downside I see to this is that you exhaust brake guys would have to make sure you plumb it in downstream of the brake in order to avoid a bath everytime you go down a steep hill.

I had my switch for the blue box and the TC lockup switch mounted next to each other in there, absolutely incognito! Flip open the tray flick some switches and whooped some *ss! Miss the old 02 already, there just isnt the wow factor w/ the new one, ... yet!

That's what I wanted to hear. I might fab a little mounting bracket for it. Open, adjust, close it up again. :D

I've heard that Ham radio operators "do it with frequency", but keeping COUNT is sorta new... . ;) :D [/B][/QUOTE]
