Using a degree symbol º in a post

I see lots of guys using the asterisk. Its easy to find the real thing.



Windows users:



Click Start @ bottom of page

Click HELP

Click the INDEX tab

Enter CHAR or Character Map

Click Special, Inserting

Copy the symbol with you mouse. , or use the copying procedure that is with the chart.



Its simple once you do it a couple of times. Try the different fonts.

There all all kinds of symbols there:

Yes different computers might be different when useing the ALT + number combo..... it depends on your character map.

I just use "Degree's" It takes longer to type, but there is no doubt as to the meaning
