Using CB 10- codes

Does anybody out there (on the road) really use the 10- codes (other than 10-4)? I have a sheet printout from firestik, but would hate to be the only anal-retentive one out there trying to read off these codes.

I used 10-8, 10-7, 10-20. That's about it.

It's pretty much gone except, as you state, 10-4 and an occasional 10-36. And don't get cought saying "good buddy " either. bg

Seems most people have just resorted to using simplex instead of 10 codes.

Your likely to get a "say what" if you broadcast that there is a 10-33 at such and such location. Except for locals where people are more civil, the CB is more of a tool for Rump Rangers plying their trade and those hapless souls who have such low self esteem that they can only agitate others.

CBers dont use anything 10 codes but 10-4 and 10-20. But they dont even say 10-20, they say "20".



And some how 42 has turned into 10-4.



And by CBers, I mean truckers.
