Utah Diesel Dyno and Drag Race

Sept 13th and 14th,2003



Announcing Utah’s 3rd Annual Diesel Dyno days along with an all Diesel Drag Race the next day at Rocky Mountain Raceways.



The Dyno will be held at the Edges Dyno in Ogden, Utah on Saturday Sept. 13th and the Drag Race at Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah on Sunday Sept. 14th.



At the Edge Saturday Sept 13th we will dyno and have a show and shine contest. Two Dyno runs for $40. 00 with a limit of 50 trucks total(they did 42 last year). Dyno will start at 10:00am and be over at 4:00pm.



Sunday Sept. 14th. Gates open at 10:00am Time Trials from 11:00am-1:00pm followed by a Driver's Meeting and eliminations at 1:30pm with Quick 8 to follow and then a burn out contest. Prices are as follows $20 ET Brackets, $30 Quick 8 Heads up, (contingent on number of entries) & $10 spectators.

We need someone to post a map on the location? If Eric won't post a map, he's afraid he will have some competition in the Show & Shine!! Come on Eric, post a map or two and show us you're not afraid to enter!! Oh I forgot, Eric will be in Moab that Saturday??



For those of you that are going to dyno, we will be "bracket dynoing". . Yea, that's right, its to give everyone a chance to win in their bracket. Tentatively, brackets will be 150-250hp, 251-350hp, 351-450hp, 451-550 and 551-up on diesel fuel only,and an open class "whatever you got". You can only enter into one bracket so no sand-bagging An example, if you declare your truck to be in the 251-350hp range, and you dyno 349hp no problem, however, if you dyno 351hp you "break out" and will be shoved into the next 351-450hp group... Should be fun for everyone, and prizes will be awarded for winners in each bracket. . Those entering ( anyone who dyno's will automatically be entered in their declared bracket) will have two runs... Best of two runs will be your score... No "tweaking" after your runs will be allowed to better your score... Any "tweaking" and re-runs on the Dyno, time permitting will be for exhibition only. .

Every one that wants to dyno on saturday need to show up at 8:30 AM to get registered so that the dynoing can start at 10 AM or maybe a little before...

Steve... . All events in Utah are open to all Diesel vehicles, (trucks that is ) . Many of our local Vendors, sell parts, repair, and do installs of aftermarket power enhancements. Edge IMHO is the leader in the field of fuel enhancements for all makes of Diesel trucks... The more different trucks the better, but come early to register for dynoing... .
