My 2001 ETH has a VA CPC, PS boost fooler and a 4" exhaust. It seems that guys with the PE EZ are able to use larger injectors then guys with VA CPC box. Is there somthing about the PE EZ that works better with larger injectors than the VA.
The EZ box can be set to start the additional fueling at three different levels of manifold boost. This feature will allow the turbo to spool up before the x-tra fueling starts which will reduce the amount of black smoke extrude honed injectors tend to produce. You can run "big" injectors with the VA, if you remember to regulate your smoke using your right foot.
(I have no first hand knowledge of this - I'm just repeating what I've read here on the board. )
The PE EZ has a built-in boost module... the VA does not. That is quite a bit of difference, the fact that you can build boost beyond the factory limit will help you realize much more of the benefit of running larger injectors.
