How is VA doing it?

I've heard stories about boxes on the Duramax, and am curious how VA has done the job. The pump is running close to max pressure, and some early boxes were perhaps leading to premature leaks and pump failure. The best solution I've heard would be to lengthen the injection pulse to allow more fuel without increased pressure, but don't know that anyone has figured out the method to accomplish that yet. Just curious - I love my Ram, and have no desire to trade. Ray

IM NOT SURE , BUT MY GUESS IS A LONGER SECONDARY INJECTION

NO TIMING CHANGE THAT WAS NOTICABLE? NOT REAL SURE

STILL GOT MY HEAD STUCK IN A 12 VALVE!

Although I don't have VIN#'s I know a guy that has a Duramax and I was talking to him about the power boxes for diesels. He told me that a local shop (he's friends with the owner) let him try the new VA box for his truck. He said the power increse was unbelievable, said he could smoke the tires on a dually. He dosn't have it on his truck any more because the box was just loaned to him. Now here is where the VIN#'s come in, he said the truck was running awesome until, I don't remember the exact part, I thing he said it was a fuel pressure regulater blew off the motor/fuel rail. He said diesel was pouring all over the motor. Until it broke though he said he was VERY pleased.
