VA or EZ

I seem to see more being said about the EZ box than the VA box. I was wondering what the difference's would be and who makes the VA box. Anybody out there had experience with both and which do you prefer. I consider myself a lower rpm and higher torque type of driver. I am not sure I know what that really means. Thanks - Dean

Dean, VA is made by Van Aaken Developments.



I have had both and prefer the VA by a large margin. The bottom end power with the VA is a lot stronger with the VA than the EZ for me. The engine is quieter than stock with the VA, and much louder than stock with the EZ. The VA gained some fuel economy and the EZ did not.



The EZ is talked about because there are more out there, it was the flavor of the week for a long time and it comes with a boost module that most will want to add to the VA seperately at additional cost.
