Guys,
This weekend we did a bit of playing to see how the DD version of the EZ compared to my Old style VA.
Truck was a 2000 2500 4x4 auto 3. 54 gears. It had 275 injectors and a stock transmission. DD box was set a most aggressive setting. Two boxes resulted in same levels of performance. This was done with a PS boost module and VA combo vs. DDTTM with builtin boost module.
I think both of these boxes work the VP44 to max factory specification. If you have no upgrades and need both box and boost module, it looks like the DD box is the way to go. If you already have a boost module, then maybe the VA. They perform the same so let price and service dictate your purchase.
This same truck with the DDTTM and 275's ran a 16. 3 at the strip. Not bad at all fellas.
