Re the difference between VA and EZ - For my $. 02, I'de pick up the best deal I could find on a used VA/elbow. If I had the VA with or without injectors, I wouldn't change. At the end of the day, the difference between the two isn't worth several houndred dollars for switching or being able to find one used.
Been there, done that.

Guys... just to put in my $. 02. I have not tried the VA, though I do have an EZ box in my truck and love it. I can put my 600lb ATV in the bed of my truck and not have a problem getting anywhere. Yeah 600lbs is not a lot, but it really makes a difference on the truck when driving through mountains. My EZ box really does deliver enought boost to make this pull un-noticable.

Also, when running empty... . you really can hot rod with this box if you feel the urge. I have had a couple situations where I have left people smelling my diesel fumes. . and when the EZ kicks in... boy does it kick in!!! This is one very satisfied customer... and besides the point, Brett and Tayler have GREAT customer service.

BTW check out this other post about the VA and EZ comparison.

Anyone have a used VA for sale?

Thanks

Kev

Well it is offical BD will be marketing all three of the VA Plug N Powers.

Each one is calibrated different for the the applications. The 215/235 and 245 and then the 275 m/h applications are calibrated for peak perforamcne with clean emmsions. We tested them all with and with out BD high flow injectors on every application for emmisions, power and temperatures. Tryed switch them around too and the parts numbers listed for each application are the best.

Oh yes the best. . The price dropped to $650. 00 and through out the range for those dealers out there.

Does that mean I can expect a $100 rebate from my $750 price a week ago?

What exactly is the "elbow" I keep reading about? The air passageway from the turbo to intercooler to intake manifold makes several 45 and 90 degree turns. Excuse my ignorance...

The "elbow" that everyone keeps refering to is a little brass elbow that connects to the turbo that controls the wastegate operation. It basicaly allow your truck to run higher than factory boost levels which leads to lower exhaust temperatures. Note the new automatics have a hardline to the wastegate so you can't install the elbow, but there are things around that, but I don't know how to do it as I have a manual with the elbow. So I hope this helps.
