Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Vaccum Pump

How hard is it to remove and replace dvaccum pump. Is there any special tools needed?

No just disconnect the power steering pump and move it out of the way (don't unhook the lines on the power steering) and remove the vacuum pump

About how long should I expect it to take for me to reseal a vacuum pump with the Gould kit from Geno's? I may be doing one on the side and I need to know how many hours to expect in order to give this guy an accurace quote. Thanks for any advice.

Without any complications, start to finish, it took me about three hours to reseal with the kit. I haven't had any leaks for the past year.

That's about right, mine is going on two months now. Great kit.

I leave the ps pump attached 'til they are on the bench, and re-seal them both.
