2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Vacuum pump supply line leak

I have a leak where the fitting screws into the vac pump body. The last time I had it out I bought a new line and fitting from Cummins, so now I know it is the threaded portion of the body that is flawed. It is once again time to replace the seal so the pump will be on my workbench again. Before I glob Permatex 1 around the fitting I'd like to hear recommendations of something else that would work better.
