i am trying to find out why my abs and brake switch lites flash quickly when i hit my cruise set button. not all but most of the time. the abs sensor is ok. my vacuum lines seem ok. i can't find any leaks. i was looking in the diagnostics manual and saw a reference to a vacuum solenoid but no location. could this be my problem? where is it located? thanks for any help... .

scott.

Look under the drivers side battery at the vacum line going to the cruise servo. These are a chronic problem due to location and may solve your problem. On my 96 I got so sick of trying to find the ABS light on problem I unplugged the ABS connector on the brake lines under the master cylinder. I never noticed any difference in braking but the stupid light went out.
