What can I do for a vacuum source for my Ford? My engine only has a power steering pump. Can I use the hydroboost from the dodge for my brakes?



I have my engine and transmission all ready to go in, this is the last pre planning headache left to figure out.

Simple,

Just use a Ford Hydroboost off of a Super Duty and a Ford Electric Vaccum pump to run the Heater A/C doors.

I used the hydraulic/powerboost brake system off my donor truck (1999 Dodge), and the brakes are AWESOME. My 73 Ford already had a vac can and my vac accy's are working perfect.

What about using one of the vacuum pumps from the 92-94 7. 3L IDI Diesels. They are a smooth pulley so you could mount it to run against the back side of the belt.
