Valet switch saves ticket

Well traffic was lighter than normal this morning and a gal in a white mustang look like she wanted to have fun. As she pulled up beside me, I matched speed, we looked at each other and then nailed it.



Huh, what, WTF is going on? I ask myself. Only 25psi. Glance down at the valet switch. Guess what? Its in valet mode. She cruises past, and I have egg on face.



Then about 2 seconds later, we see the state patrol hiding on the side of the road. We slam on brakes. He pulls out and pulls her over, I drive on thinking the eggs were pretty good this morning.

Piers and others sell kits. And many have custom made their own.



Install a valve between the boost line coming from the Manifold to the AFC housing. Valve is 12v electric actuated. Runs to switch on dash.



In valet mode, prevents the boost signal from driving the AFC housing and provides a serious loss in topend horsepower.
