2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission value - 1998 Quad Cab Dually

Hi all,



I ran across a 1998 Quad Cab Dually 12 valve that has 260K miles on it. The automatic transmission has just been rebuilt. The rig is in average to good condition considering it has 260k miles. Just wanting a general ballpark idea what it is worth. They are asking $14,400. I think that is a little high, but I would like your opinion.

If it will help you, I just purchased a 2000 3500 Quad Cab 4x4 with 84,000 on it for $14,000. And it was 600 miles from home on vacation! I had been looking forever for a good deal, just take your time and do a lot of searching!

I know where there is a '96 Ext Cab 2500 Long Box, dont know the mielage, but not over 200K, and the guy would probably take around 12K for it. I can find out more particulars for you if needed.

You did not mention if it's a 4X4 or not I picked up mine with 240k on it for 8300. 00 about 3 months ago. It's a 2wheel drive 5 speed though... ...

I know of a 1998 24 valve QC dually sport, larimie, Auto, 4x4 , leather, all the toys, ect with 39,000 miles that is 4 Sale. About 16,000 ask price.



Anyone interested, I'll hook them up.

I apologize, yes, it is a 4x4. has a gooseneck hitch in the bed, nice set of wheels, maroon/silver. Good looking truck.

Independent used dealer here just sold a '96 ext cab 3500 auto 4X4 with 120,000 for 12,900. Nice truck but I have gotten used to the quad doors.
