Valve Adj. At Max!!! Help

I read the thread on valve adj. , so at 57000 I thought i better do it. all was good untill # 4 intake, i was tight(no clearance) so i had to loosen the allen screw about 3 full turns to get proper lash, at this point conserned but moving on. Then #5 exh is the same and i loosen the allen all the way till it stops and i still have no clearance!! What now. sounds major to me!?

were you rotating the motor during the procedure?

you should make sure it is on tdc to make the correct adjustment or else the valve could be opening and that would give u a false reading and a bad adjustment.

also you should not have to adjust the valves unless you have done valve train work.

Ok, now i read the manual, i have to do 1-2-4 intake, and 1-3-5 exh first, then rotate 360 and do 3-5-6- intake and 2-4-6- exh. Thanks guys!!

Theoretically yes but there have been plenty of issues with valve trains being at there max

Does the manual say to adjust them cold or hot? ? ? ?

Adjust only cold.
