I have about 77K on mine now. Dealer says every 30k, hmm... their reasoning is obvious $$$. I have the Dodge service manual and I beleive it recommends every 100k. Is there any consensus on this?
Just had mine done at107k and all needed to be tightened up. I noticed that the engine had gotten more rattle to it and the valve adjustment made it run and idle smoother. I got lucky and on a road trip had Ponci's diesel repair in Fortuna,Ca. do the work. Great bunch of people and members of the TDR. Thanks again to Brad. Got me in with short notice and charged a fair price.
i do my own once a year just to keep an eye on things. i run about 40k km's per year. usually find one or two that actually need a little bit of adjusting. Besdides it gives me an excuse to spend some quality time with my ctd.
how hard is this to do? Also, any guys in the Twin Cities wana help me out? Mine has just under 94k and it has gotten a little more rattley and Fuel mileage has drop slightly, I figure mine need an adjustment.
