Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Valve adjustment on 2002 HO engine

I can't get the crankcase breather removed so I can find TDC. I have tried to unscrew the breather, but I can't get it to turn.



Does anyone hav any suggestions?

I've used a large pair of channel locks to remove them. It's really tight on some. They are right hand thread.

An oil filter strap wrench works great.

Careful its plastic, squeeze to hard and it will crack

Thanks for the suggestion of using the filter strap. I beleive that will work.

If you have an oil filter wrench for your truck, that should work.
