Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) valve adjustment question, hot or cold

I got the specs from a search on my 2000 24V ISB. Dumb question BUT Are these hot or cold lash settings??

Cummins normaly recomends that they are set cold or at a temp below 140*F. Settings should be 10 intake 20 exhaust. The reset limit is fairly wide I would have to look it up but it is somewhere around + or - . 004 inch. I here alot of dealers are requiring customers to leave their rigs overnite so they are stone cold. I personally would wait till it is cool enough to work on comfortably and go for it. A Johnson
