Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Valve Adjustment Question

Anyone,



I am wanting to put in my new RV275s next week, but while in there I was wondering if I should adjust the valves. Currently I have 71K miles on the truck. Please let me know if I should do this and what the specs should be or would be good for certain conditions

I do mine every 50k. The engine should be cold and the Intake set at . 010 and the Exhaust at . 020

Anytime you have the rocker arm cover off should adjust valve lash. By the way just checked mine and it had a little over 130,000 and they where all in spec. I did loosen and adjust one intake valve rocker just to say I did something, it did not really need it. I have the HO and the rv275's do not make a huge seat of the pants change. Hopefully after the Quad-Adrenaline install in May will wake up the injectors. I currently have Super Chips and was never really impressed with it so it will be my code reader in the future.
