Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Valve Adjustment

I assume you replace the valve cover gasket, is there anything else I need??

You don't replace the gasket - it's reusable. All you need is a wrench and a hex key to adjust the valves, a set of feeler gauges to measure them and a socket and breaker bar (or a socket wrench and pipe) to turn the engine over.
