Valve Adjustment

How hard is it ti check the valve adjustment on the 99? Is there a manual or article(web) that shows or explains what is involved. I would like to be able to do it myself since I place no trust in the daler

OK I havent even stepped out of the house yet and Im lost already. Does the shop manual explain clearly?

Not sure about the manual, I don't have one. I would think it does though. Basically you just line the engine up on #1 cyl TDC and put a feeler in between the top of the pushrod/valvespring retainer and the bottom of the rocker for the valves and measure the clearance, then adjust until it is right. Then rotate the engine 360* and do the ones you have not doen yet, walla you are done, an hour at the most.
