Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Valve Body disassembly and cleaning

Has anyone experience this? I'll try the last job before take the truck to the mechanic. I wanna try to cleaning it, I'll try claning the 1-2 2-3 3-4 valves. I don't know if this can help...

anyone can explain me the procedure, tricks anything??

I know about difficult with the PARK ROD CLIP... what's this?

I need unhooking the shift lever or other?

Wow... if you're doing all that, you might as well go the whole hog and do the rebuild yourself... it looks like you'll be about 90% there.
