Valve Body For Me???

I have recently installed my TST #8 plate and Amsoiled my truck. I planned two long trips with my 24' travel trailer this summer, one to FL. and one to Yellowstone in July. Should I also install a valve body?? I am worried about heat,and load, 8k pounds loaded, I also plan on getting a larger trailer in the future. I have stock tires and 48k miles on the truck now. I was thinking about a DTT VB.

Barry,I'm no expert on auto trans,but a few things to know and consider-heat is the killer of automatics,if you eliminate slppage and run an appropriate cooler for your needs life is much simpler. Even normal slippage at upshifts create heat also torqe converter lockup. I put a Transgo shiftkit in my 98,(myself,not for the inexpereanced) and the differance is great,no more sliiidding into tq lockup and eliminated the shuder also . I bought my kit from TST. the sky is the limit on this stuff,but you won't regret bying the best the budget will allow.

If Bill Kondaly doesnt reply to you for a couple of days is becuase he is in Vegas I met with him yesterday. His valve body and torque convertor over stock is like night and day. I pull 2 trailers that weigh a total of about 13500 lbs and this upgrade helped me substantioaly. I hope this helped you.
