I'm interested in the ATS valve body assembly. Has anyone ever installed one? If so how involved was it. Does anyone have any idea what a typical installation from a shop would be. Thanks.
 
In my opinion, installing a valve body is a piece of cake and anyone with decent mechanical skills and a socket set can do it.



The key is to keep things *clean*. I encourage you to give it a try! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say...

Some have try to remove the VB ,and in the Process Bent or install the sprag Rod incorrectly,also when removing the E-clip it landed in behind the front band ,When turning it fell into the retainer and was destroyed,also the lever assembly is easily Broken. Also your stock TC won"t Last Long If you Add HP. Removing the Gov/Pressure solenoid is easy.

some people should not change there own oil.

go for it it is easy. tc is not bad. input shaft that was a little tricky, leave that one for the pros.
