1) Strip all paint off with 3m gasket remover



2) get out phone book and look up metal refinishers



3) drop off and tell him you wanna see yourself in it



4 pick it up and

that does look sweet! i just did mine but haven't painted the letters yet. what type of paint did you use and did you rough the letters up first? i polished everything including the letters.

I used Testors Model Paint... . and scuffed the letters with 120 grit before painting

TnL, that pic does not do the part justice. Guys I seen that cover when he installed it last night and it does shine. Looked like chrome. No gold tint like the pic shows, that must be the lighting. It is sharp.

Have you dynoed after adding the valve cover? Does the Seat of the Pants indicator show more HP/TQ?

seat of the pants is at least 30 hp..... the "valve adjustment also helped!
