Valve Cover Torque

Could someone please give me the torque for the valve cover bolts?

Stick: I couldn't find it in a '96 factory service manual, but I have a Hayne's manual also that lists 216 inch lbs. for valve cover bolts.

The screws have a shoulder on them to control clearance for the gaskets. When the shoulder touches just snug them up.

valve cover bolt torque is : 18 ft-lbs (24 Nm)
