Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) valve guide seal? update on this? Keep them down?

I was searching and found that the seal can float up the stem. I am wondering if there is a update for this so this does not happen?

the updated 12V seal/guide looks more like this one. Its so the Valve spring sits on the seat and wont allow it to ride up.

I was told you have to do head work to make them work? Will they work just as a replacement something like



take the old ones off and put these on?
