Valves After 149,000

Here is a picture of the valves in my truck after 149,000 miles, with only one oil drain. I utilize a by-pass oil filtration system and synthetic oil. I also do oil analysis every 10,000 miles. The picture was taken on 10-6-2002

Odd coincidence - I just pulled my 24V cover yesterday to check valve lash (which checked exactly in tolerance) @ 159000 mi. - Looks as clean as yours. I posted awhile back with my Amsoil experiences.
