 Just changed my BHAF after 21K-plus miles, have not adjusted my valves in 40K. I have not been able to get over 22mpg on freeway, doing about 18mpg in surface streets, average at 19. 30mpg. Could this be due to the valves not adjusted (last time I adjusted they were very slightly out, . 011 intake, . 021 exhuast). BHAF looked pretty grey, got a little wet (I have a cover over it now). Thanks in advance for any input... :D Patrick.

Well I would adjust the valves regardless, however I wouldn't complain about the fuel mileage it sounds great to me :D

Mileage sounds good, actually excellent with a stock slop-o-matic.

Any MPG increases are probably going to hit a point of diminishing returns from here on out.

Definitely set the valves, drive, and enjoy.
