I'm getting ready to change my Automatic transmission fluid. I saw the Valvoline ATF+3 recommended & approved for Chrysler MOPAR at the auto parts store. Its alot cheaper that the genuine stuff at the dealer @ about $2. 50/qt. . What do you think? Anybody using it?

That is what I use. Last Four fluid changes

That is what I use. Last Four fluid changes on my DTT transmission.

Thanks guys, for the response. I talked to a local transmission shop. He said that he has a special machine that can drain the torque converter fluid too. He wants around $200 to do the service which includes the filter & gasket but not the fluid. Do I need to completely drain for the first time around?

Also, I have not had band check/adjustment for a long time- 2 years. Should I just have him do this at the same time if I have him do the servicing?
