Just got back from a short 210 mile trip out to the desert to watch a rock crawling competition. I filled up last night with the bottle of additive poured in. When I filled up I calculated 13. 5 mpg (city driving, easy on the throttle, no additive). Last towing trip I got about 13. 5 mpg also (55 the whole time, almost all freeway with no traffic).

Today with the additive I did 170 freeway/no traffic miles. about 10 street/traffic, and about 30 freeway/traffic. I got 22. 5 mpg. (what's up with all the halves?) Next weekend I'll be doing the same trip just with my Jeep behind me, and I'll check back into this thread and report on my mileage. I won't be driving much until then and I only put in like 9 gallons tonight so the additive should still be in there then.

No noticeable power increase or anything, but I don't think I got near this mileage when I did the same trip a month ago.

I will have to give it a try. I heard others with improved mileage with the additive. Thats always good news with the price of fuel these days. Thanks for the report. Jeff

WOW, I just might try it if it increase's the MPG that much. Shucks, half that much increase would make it worth putting in. Sides, it helps remove what little moisture there might be in the fuel, doesn't it?

I posted this because I had searched on it and not found too much first hand experience with it. I did a lot of city driving today and moved a couple trailers, and will be towing my Jeep a few towns over tomorrow, so I'll get a good mix of driving conditions this week to report with.

I had half a tank (couldn't get rid of the fuel no matter how much I tried to drive!) and poured the whole bottle in. There's a "trucks only" diesel pump at my local shell (consistently 20-30 center cheaper then anywhere else) that pumps a lot faster then the others, so half assed reasoning said that the extra flow would help mix it up a little better. Really wanted to try the additive and didn't want to wait to empty the tank out.

so a week later, 3/4 of a tank, 14. 3 mpg. split about even towing on the freeway and city driving. about normal i guess. towing the jeep the same route i got 22. 5 mpg on tomorrow morning, see how it goes with a load.

What all is supposed to do?

i don't recall exactly, but raise cetane, increase lubrisoty (definite spell check needed on that one) and uh... i don't remember what all else was on the label.
