That figures... old news.

I know they had been producing a red bottle #VV324 that listed on the back as ATF+4 compatible but was not +4 specific, sort of universal fluid I guess.

Anyway its nice to see +4 on the shelfs finally.

I paid around 3. 70 a qt. Not sure what OEM costs, but I think I remember reading on here that it was upwards of 8. 00 per qt. :eek:

On average, what are the approximate savings per quart vs. OEM ? Per gallon vs. OEM ? (if available)

Greg
I buy it wholesale for work and found only . 04 savings per qt. aftermarket vs OEM.

I read on another site that WalMart now carries it too.

Yah, wal-mart carries the mopar brand ATF+4. I went in one day and discovered the mopar ATF+4 on the shelf and looked at the price, it was $3. 36 a quart. I thought wow that's great, without thinking I left the store without picking any up. The next day I went back to buy some and the price was $4. 48 :{

Last time I bought transmission fluid at the dealer I paid $29. 75 a gallon which is $7. 44 a quart. So the Valvoline is quite a bit cheaper.
