Attention: TDR Forum Junkies OOPS! forget my last post Steve. I just read your next to last post explaining the PB2000. Crap, I just switched to it too! Now, if I could only find a source for the Mobil Delvac 1 I'd be in business. I have a hard time believing Vaughn can easily obtain it in Eastern WA. although, I can't seem to locate any in Western WA. HELP! Who the heck sells this stuff???? The issue of oil in my Cummins, and procurement of same is really ******* me off!

I was using Red Line although, it was just too expensive at $7. 50 per quart x 11 qts. for the 6,750 mile oil change interval I had it in for, three different changes worth!!!! I intended to adopt a 10k oil change interval however, oil analysis results revealed high silicon levels, most likely due to the poor design of the OE air box seal. The OE Fleetguard/Dodge, Fleetguard, and XLerator (two-stage foam) filter elements ALL exhibted relatively the same silicon levels. I switched to the K&N RE-0880/25-0880 filter/pre-filter at the same time I switched to the Valvoline/Cummins PB2000. The next oil analysis should substantiate my suspicions.
