I have called all my local auto parts stores (Advance, Napa, Autozone), and none of them carry the Valvoline Premium Blue. Do any of you know of a source online where I can order? Or, if you can think of any other auto parts retailers to try, I can call them if they're local.

Who knew it would be so hard to find!

David

Just give your friendly NAPA store the following part numbers:

Valvoline Premium Blue - Quart: V V 389

Valvoline Premium Blue - Gallon: V V 70509 (Case of 4 gallons)

With those numbers, they can look it up and get it. Also, NAPA has the gallon jugs on sale thru September right now !! Oo. If memory serves, it is less than $8. 50 / gal. , so stock up !! :)

Good luck !

Hi, I buy the Valvoline Premium Blue in 30 gallons barrels (much easier to handle then a 55!). It seems to be quite a cost difference when buying in large quantities verses the gallons or quarts. :D The oil was readily available at a local oil distributor in Omaha, you might want to call around because some distributors will also sell retail and they also have cases of quarts and gallons. Good Luck and enjoy your 600. Oo.

3 week old 2004. 5 3500 4x4 Molton Red SLT, SRW, shortbox. 48re(wife made me!) :( , anti-spin, infinity sound, Mopar grille inserts, seat covers and mudflaps. Traded in 1998 2500 4x2 5sp Club Cab shortbox. Luv these trucks!

The Valvoline website only gives you 'valvoline' retailers. If all they sell is 5W30 valvoline they;re listed.

I was buying mine down here at cummins southeast BUT recently have been seeing it at pepboys, autozone, and carquest (never thought to check Napa).

I take it from the 30 gallon barrel with a manual pump into a old Rotella gallon jug left over from the dark day's driving FURD'S. :D

Well, I have tried and tried...

I live in Winston-Salem, NC and NONE of the local auto parts stores carry the Premium Blue, nor can they order it. I don't get it!!

I can go to Cummins Atlantic in Greensboro (~30 minute drive), but I was hoping someone could suggest an online source I can order from. I have Googled the hell out of this, but I can't find any sites that sell it online.

HELP HELP HELP :{ !!

Thanks,

David

I drive 45 minutes South to a Cummins service center to buy mine. I also drive 20 minutes South to fuel up at a truckstop. I like driving. :D

Other Oil?

May I suggest you look at Amsoil. I actually costs less in the long run and it is a full synthetic. I run it in everything I own. It's great stuff. Visit Amsoil.com. Also they will deliver it directly to your front door.

NOT ANYMORE!! I recently discovered that Pep Boys carries Valvoline PB by the case, just like what I get at the Cummins dealer... AND IT'S $10 CHEAPER!!!

-Ryan :)

[See, it's not just Dodge dealers that inflate prices... Cummins service centers do too!]

I'm a Delvac1 man myself but I recently noticed that my local Pep Boys is also carrying the the 15w40 Premium Blue. In addition, it appears that the RotellaT has new labeling on the bottle.

The 60 minute round trip drive will insure all the contaminants drain properly from your crankcase, DCornelius ! :D :D

I never updated my post, but I wound up finding the VPB at a local oil distributor, and I bought a case (4 gallons) from them. Just recently though, the Advance Auto Parts store went through a complete renovation to make more store space and such. Now they carry it. I went ahead and bought 2 gallons and got a $5 rebate.
