Valvoline Premium Blue 15W40 is what they put in at the factory?Am I correct? If thats what they put in thats what I am going to put back in when I do a oil change. I've used the Delco 400 on the ones in the past till they got some miles on them. Then I switched over to Amsoil 5W30. But I think I will use Amsoil 15W40 in this one. One parts store I called keeps some in stock for 8. ?? a case.

Valvoline also makes Premium Blue Extreme 5w40, a full synthetic for $12. /gal. That's a good bit cheaper than Amsol and it's approved by Cummins.

Oh, BTW, Ichanged my oil today and it was really easy. All it took was a rachet, a 12" extension, and a socket type filter wrench ( the same one that fits the filters on most Mopar V8s. ) It was soooo easy to remove and replace the filter from below, and not as messy either.
